Nico Liebenberg has been making pots since 1987. High temperature stoneware and porcelain in the 'Anglo Oriental' style, reduction fired in fuel firing kilns. He makes a wide variety of pots, ranging from tea bowls and mugs, big bowls to small ones, hand basins, platters and even wine jars. He works with mostly traditional old oriental glazes like the Tenmokus, Celadons, Shinos, Copper reds, Dolomite whites and Ash, and he throws all his pots on the potter's wheel himself. It is a one-man operation - studio pottery with a very personal feel and style.
